Each year a committee of students in Year 12 lead a three-day programme of charitable events to raise money for good causes, alongside various other fundraisers across the year.
Students are invited to write letters of application to the Head of Year in September of Year 12, and following a rigorous selection process, a Fundraising Committee is appointed to organise and lead the school鈥檚 fundraising effort, culminating in the last week of the Spring term.
Events organised by previous Charity Committees聽 have included a quiz night, a Christmas movie fundraiser and a staff vs students football match, easter egg hunt, bingo and karaoke.
The week affords our students a valuable opportunity to forge professional relations with members of staff and members of the local community, while acquiring valuable transferable skills in performing charitable endeavours and project management.
Recent School trips include Disneyland Paris, New York, Stubai Ski trip, London galleries, exhibitions and shows, Biology and Geography field trips and University visits.
